Student support is an important part of the student journey at AIA. From the first enquiry through to study, progress and completion, students are encouraged to ask questions early and access support when they need it.
Support before enrolment
Before enrolment, AIA provides course information to help students understand entry requirements, delivery details, fees, duration, units of competency and the support available. Students may also complete LLND or suitability checks so AIA can identify any learning support needs before training begins.
Academic and learning support
During study, students can speak with AIA staff about course progress, assessment requirements, study planning, digital access and general academic support. Where support needs are identified, AIA may guide students to suitable internal support or external services.
Wellbeing and welfare support
AIA provides welfare guidance to help students settle into study and life in Melbourne. This may include information about accommodation, wellbeing, health services, emergency contacts and referral options. AIA does not replace medical, legal or migration advice, but can guide students to appropriate services when needed.
Accommodation and settling in
Students who need accommodation guidance can access information about external accommodation options and planning their arrival. Students should review providers carefully and contact AIA Student Support if they need general guidance.
Policies, feedback and complaints
Students should know where to find AIA’s current forms and policies, including information about complaints and appeals, student progress, enrolment and support. Clear access to these documents helps students understand their rights, responsibilities and available support pathways.
